Because of insufficient cover at Titcomb Mountain, Farmington Ski Club and Colby College will host the Nordic Competition of the Colby Carnival on the Bond Brook trails Friday and Saturday, January 21 -22. Come see some of the top collegiate racers and other elite racers in the second EISA Winter Carnival. Augusta Trails is very pleased to be a part in this event – the first of its kind in Central Maine.

Thursday January 20
Course will be open for inspection and training for competitors.

Friday January 21
Mens’ 20 Km Classic Technique Interval Start 10 AM
Womens’ 15 Km Classic Technique Interval Start 12:15 PM
Saturday January 22
Women’s 3 x 5 Km Relay Freestyle Technique 10AM
Men’s 3 x 5 Km Relay Freestyle Technique 11AM
Directions to the Venue
Take I-95 to Exit 109A and head into Augusta. Turn left at Airport Road that turns into Winthrop St. Turn left at the top of the hill and drive through Mt Hope Cemetery to the parking lot at the water towers. The stadium is a short ski down the hill and snowmobiles will be available to shuttle gear down the hill. If the weather conditions permit, we may be able to allow vehicle access down the access road to park adjacent to the stadium. Parking in the stadium area will be only for teams and officials. Parking and shuttle arrangements for spectators are pending.
